We Said: Good-bye to Nepal

Our two months in Nepal have been filled with Natural Wonders--trekking Annapurna and Langtang both for over a week, seeing Rhinos and wildlife and ancient cities around Kathmandu. We have enjoyed Lumbini (Buddha's Birthplace), Tansen (Palpa), Pokhara, Poon Hill Trek, Bandipur, Chitwan National Forest, Kathmandu, Langtang Trek, Boudanath, Nagarkot, Bhaktapur, Changu Narayan Temple (From 5th Century), Patanand Bungamati as well as Thamel area for New Years! The Nepal Tourism Board slogan that once is not enough for Nepal is definitely true! We are already planning another trip to see so many more parts of Nepal.

On April 15, we fly to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. After six months of nearly no wifi or consistent power (Myanmar, India, Nepal), we are looking forward to Magnificent Malaysia and an apple store (I broke the screen on our MacBook Air! if you are counting that is one camera, one video camera and one laptop broken in the last ten months.)

Sending HAPPY BIRTHDAY THOUGHTS to my Mom! (see photo below of my Mom and Dad!)

Thank you to everyone who has shared our journey literally on the road with us or by reading and commenting on our newsletter and website!
