Sawadeekah from Thailand! Hello from Koh Samui. (photo below for recent Sunset!) We are at Meedej Guest house with a large balcony directly over the sand and we can hear the waves through our two sliding glass doors. The spacious room is cooled by cross breezes and a fan and is a mere 500Baht ($17usd). We have been here for the last three weeks and we are so happy to be in one place!
George is a musician (see photo above for band rehearsal) and one of his favorite artists is Bob Dylan (so much so-that he named his cat, Bob Dylan.) In Nepal, we first saw this quote: "A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and gets to bed at night, and in between he does what he wants to do." --Bob Dylan
We are working hard to follow Dylan's advice. For the moment, we are walking on the beach, kayaking, snorkeling and editing our memoir about our first year sabbatical in Asia where we got engaged underwater and I lost over fifty pounds!
Our family has so much to celebrate! On June 5, my sister and her husband will celebrate their twentieth wedding anniversary. My parents are in Iceland traveling by cruise ship to enjoy their fiftieth wedding anniversary on June 15! George and I were just notified by KRED that our site is now a top 1% elite influencer in Travel
Thank you to everyone who has shared our journey literally on the road with us or by reading and commenting on our newsletter and website! AND for watching our YouTube videos: Our channel just went OVER 85,000 views!
